  • FOUNDER and CEO

    I'm Ax, a founder and the CEO of 3rd Brain. As a 19-year-old war refugee who arrived in the United States with just $20 in my pocket, I worked my way up from community college to earning a Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction. I have extensive experience in product management, design, research, and thought leadership, and I have worked at Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, and startups. I'm passionate about transforming ideas into digital experiences that work for everyone, which is why I am starting 3rd Brain with my lovely wife and co-founder, Paige.

  • FOUNDER and CPO

    I'm Paige, a founder and the Chief Product Officer of 3rd Brain. I'm a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist turned product leader at The New York Times, specializing in creating robust subscriber acquisition and retention experiences. I began my career at The Seattle Times, where I led local journalism strategy from many angles before setting my sights on the business and tech side of the media industry. My heart is in developing products that truly help people, which is why I'm so eager to help couples share the mental load alongside my husband and co-founder, Ax.
